Glass Block Lights
Friday, September 5, 2008

I made this block light for a new baby girl, Emma. I think it will look pretty in her nursery. These are so pretty for little accent lights around your home. I'm going to do a few for Christmas gifts this year--with family photos on them. I have also collected a few holiday theme graphics that will definitely be done for my craft show in October.

If you would like one...I can do just about anything with your block! They are $19.99 each plus shipping. (for now--sale ends soon!)

Beautiful glass block. I'm wanting to add photo's to my glass block but I'm not sure what type of paper to use. Any suggestions? Or is there a website I can get ideas from.

Nana---I just used some buff colored copy paper. Then I mod podged over it. I used the matte finish mod podge. It kinda gives a linen look w/ the brush strokes. Then I added the trim around the edges. I don't see why you can't use photo paper either. You may want to use the glossy mod podge then.
